As one of the brokerage alliances for healthcare and social service organizations, our members' in-depth understanding of the complex environment in which healthcare organizations operate allows us to successfully serve as an advocate for our client in this distinct insurance marketplace. The service team we have assembled is led by associates that have in excess of 20 years of experience.
Because our healthcare clients have such extensive risk management and program administration needs, we utilize a three-part service plan: risk management, brokerage, and administration.
As part of our risk management service-delivery platform, we interact with the appropriate personnel in the organization to better understand the operational issues specific to its operations, such as patient care, delivery of medicines, patient security, and life safety, to name a few.
Additionally, we work with the appropriate departments in the organization to help manage claims oversight and advocacy and address property loss and related income: business continuation, evacuation plans, and extra expense are all critical to healthcare operations. Furthermore, we assess various safety programs in place and assist in revising and/or creating new programs where needed.
When marketing an insurance program for a healthcare client, we utilize our market knowledge and the information we derive from our interactions with the organization to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy, inclusive of coverage types and structures as well as preferred markets.
Finally, in order to alleviate some of the administrative burden on our clients, we serve as a single point of contact between the organization and its marketing, risk control, and claims teams, and address daily needs such as certificates of insurance, binders, and policy review and corrections.
