José Manuel Dias da Fonseca is a renowned risk management expert, CEO of MDS Portugal/Brazil, Chairman of SonaeRe (Sonae's Reinsurance Captive) and Chairman of APOGERIS (Portuguese Association of Risk Managers). He was also Vice President of FERMA (Federation of European Risk Management Associations) for several years. Prior to joining MDS he was responsible for the first experience of "bancassurance" in Portugal, founded a pension fund management company and was CEO of a Portuguese insurance company. He received a degree in Economics and a post-degree in "Management Publique" from the Institut International de l'Administration Publique in Paris.

He is also Chairman and Member of the Supervisory Board at VIP Broker, the Spanish subsidiary. Prior to joining Filhet-Allard, Gregory started his career as Assistant Vice President of the Syndicated Loans Department of BW Capital Corporation in New York. James F. Crystal is Executive Vice President at Frank Crystal & Company, one of the largest independent brokers in the United States of America. Jamie manages large accounts and strategic corporate relationships. He works extensively with many of Frank Crystal's largest clients in the manufacturing, retail, real estate, healthcare, and non-profit industries to develop custom-designed insurance programs. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Princeton University and is a past-governor and member of the John Street Insurance Association for leadership in the insurance industry. Steve has over 25 years' insurance experience, all of which have been with Cooper Gay, where he is Managing Director. He is responsible for Cooper Gay's extensive and growing Latin American network of offices. His main area of expertise is property facultative reinsurance, including all occupancies from oil and gas, power and mining to general property. Steve also has considerable experience in the creation, structuring and placing of all types of captive reinsurance programs. Steve is fluent in Spanish and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII). At BrokersLink, Steve is a member of the Global Board of Directors.
